Bill was born March, 1926 in Beaumont, Texas.  He was called into the ministry through a vision at age 13 and began preaching at age 24.

His first pastorate was in DeQuincy, LA where he stayed for over 4 years.

Bill is the founder of Faith Fellowship Church, Shreveport, LA, and pastored there for 32 years.  He also founded Faith Bible College in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA.

In 1963 he founded World Ministry Fellowship and has served as it's President and Executive Director.

Over the course of his ministry, he has founded several churches and has been successful in the area of pastoral counseling.

Currently, Bill operates Bill Brown Ministries.  Bill Brown Ministries has a vision to help pastors and congregations as well as operate Evangelically.

He has an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from North American Bible College.  He also has an Honorary Doctor of Christian Ministry degree from The Seminary for Theological Missions in Guatemala.

In 1946 he married Dorothy Lee Southerland.  Together they had four children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  They were married for 61 years before Dorothy went to be with Jesus in 2007.
